The historical build used a separate legacy Go toolchain and a Cronet patch for loading on macOS 10.15, but the patch does not cover all dependencies. Its log still warns that Cronet objects target macOS 12. The reviewed sing-box certificate-pinning and certstore call sites use the macOS 12 certificate-chain API without an OS-version fallback. This API is weakly imported in the actual core: it establishes neither a macOS 12 startup requirement nor working older-OS feature paths. Historical core code/data sections match the release core; full files differ. The original Go 1.26.3 toolchain source is still unavailable. The package minimum remains unknown; target 10.15 is not a compatibility guarantee.
